Na ja, am Kanal ist es ja auch schön, nur dass eben die Schiffe nicht so groß sind.

Wenn ich deine Bilder sehe hätte ich doch an die Elbe fahren sollen ( purer Neid Modus :-D). Aber ich finde die Bilder sind echt gut geworden, vor allem das Grün kommt richtig gut.

Ich muss gestehen, dass ich mit diesen Aufnahmen auch selbst sehr zufrieden bin.
Es war auch wirklich ein sehr schöner Sonnenuntergang und der Rest war Glück.
(Eigentlich sollten Maersk Algol und MSC Mira erst um 18 Uhr auslaufen und Ever Conquest hatte ich gar nicht auf dem Zettel...)

A very nice autumn sunset and a bunch of container vessels... I was lucky yesterday!

And yes, you're right... that's the new pilot transfer balloon. Diesel for the pilot vessels got too expensive.
Just hope they were clever enough not to use hydrogen for the balloon as was used on the "Hindenburg".:-D

Wow, excellent photos you are postng -- really, really nice. Is that the pilot transfer vehicle in the air behind the ship?
