Strange ship! Looks like some kind of accomodation barge. Is she all-new or is she based on some former Soviet navy barge? (I believe the Soviet navy had a lot of accomodation barges similar to this one).

Where will she be completed? Germany? Netherlands?

Brgds.

I think she was cempletet/rebuild at Holland Shipyards. My dutch is not that good.

The picture was taken on the 19. October 2009 at 15:40h. It was about 20 km outside of Tallinn. She was in tow enroute to St. Petersburg according to the shipyards website.

In my opinion she would have reached St. Petersburg until now ?!?

Best regards
Stefan

Thanks for that Stefan. She seems to be a rebuild from an existing hull. She will move to the Caspian Sea via St Petersburg indeed.

It is the former passenger ship. Was called earlier: Cezanne G. Al. -> Kazan (IMO 9172088) -> London Night -> KURMANGAZY.

It is primary the passenger ship. It has been constructed in Italy in 1999. In 2003 has been bought to Russia and from 2003 to 2007 years worked on on the river Volga, Ladoga, Onega. Moscow - St.-Petersburg.

P.S. Sorry for my English.

I have a question for you, Boris. I hope you can help me out here.

In THIS picture you can see a coach. It was owned by my father for many years. Was then sold to russia. We saw the bus again in 2001 on our ferry trip to Helsinki and Stockholm. I think the bus is operated somewhere around St. Petersburg.

Can help how the companys name is written and/or better do they have a website where I can find some information???
If yes it would be great, if can find out, what happend to "our" bus and where it operated today???

Thanks for any informations in advance.
