But is this a storm? Based on 20+ years of sea experience, it looks like some wind and seaspray.
Many people belive that car-carriers are terrible in high-seas, but in my experience they are quite good, better than VLCC's and ULCC's in ballast condition. :-)

In theory yes, car carriers should be fine in high seas, but real life situation is different because of high GM height. if weather on Biscay bay is bad captains of owner I am working for, always take shelter of Brixham or at Nab tower to avoid unnecessary stress on vessel and lashings.

Have been on car carriers for 5 years in the Pacific and Indian Ocean, we did'nt have any shelter haven, but the car carriers behaved very well in heavy seas and storm. As always, good seamanship must of course always be applied when transversing stormy seas, well, always, but this you know :-)
