COMMENT THIS PHOTO(1)
this beautiful vessel (Nikolay Zhukov class - very similar to the famous "Pioner Moskvy" class but a little longer and with a bulbus bow) was renamed "Darnitsa" in 1998 then "Sea Star" in 2000. She was sadly broken up on 28/08/2003 in Alang with her sister ship "Sea Wave" (Ex Petr Starostin). Two other "Sea ..." were fortunately saved and found back their original name and shipping company : "Vasiliy Belokonenko" (Sea Skyline) and "Mikhail Stenko" (Sea Mirage), still in service, trading for CFD Donbass in Mariupol (Ukraine).
