Description:
The Alaska Marine Highway System's MV AURORA is shown in Cordova Alaska in June 2005. The Aurora was built by Peterson Shipbuilders in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin in 1977. She is 235 feet long and can carry 250 passengers and 34 vehicles at 14.5 knots. She presently operates in Prince William Sound Alaska between Cordova, Whittier and Valdez.
