Renamed TÜBINGEN as of May 1970 due to new LEVERKUSEN completed 29.5.70. I sailed on her from 2.December 1969 until 22.Juli 1970 = 7 months 20 days as 3rd mate for two voyages in the Magellan-Sedrvice, i.e. Europe-New York-Brazil-Argentina-Chile (Pta. Arenas, Chacabuco, Pto Montt) up the Chile coast-Panama and Europe. Fantastic voyages with lots of good memories.

great angle, the style of these boats really blow me away, its alot more of a sleek design instead of the boxy look of todays cabins
