The first real cold morning of our present winter with temps around -25C. Not particularly keen on a ship photographer's fingers...
CANADIAN PROVIDER as shown while downbound on the St.Lawrence River off Verchères on December 17, 2009. The ship is a steamer such as other older types of lakers which can still be seen on the Great Lakes hence the white plumes of vapor emitted by her stack in the brisk cold air.
