General cargo ships built 1940 and before (Over 3000gt) | | Description: | built at Malmo in 1925 as SKANELAND for the Brostrom Group
Sold in 1928 to Hamburg South America Line, and renamed PERNAMBUCO, she was seized at Kiel in May 1945 and temporarily named EMPIRE DART before being allocated in 1946 to the USSR and renamed KRASNODAR.
The photograph was taken by Mike Lennon at Gibraltar on 11th June 1966
She finally arrived at Split on 1.1.75 to be broken up.
