Description:
Built at Nakskov as KARIN K.BORNHOFEN and briefly renamed EMPIRE LEA in May 1945 at Copenhagen, she was allocated in 1946 to the USSR and renamed VERKHOYANSK as which she traded until about 1971.
VERKHOYANSK was photographed on the Kiel Canal westbound from Klaipeda for Garston on 10th July 1969
