Description:

GENIE, built for Chandris at Sunderland in 1959 as MISS CHANDRIS, had only recently been renamed GENIE when photographed by David Boone in the Delaware River on 29.5.69 outbound from Philadelphia.

Laid up in the Seychelles from 22.11.81, GENIE suffered an explosion and fire in her engine room in December 1982 and was eventually towed to breakers at Karachi where she arrived on 1st February 1985.
