Many thanks John, I agree that they have a great history behind them and it is good that people are prepared to put the effort in to preserve them, I have been pretty lucky this year with the old timers and like you enjoy seeing them.

That is such a beautiful sight Ken. Great to see these barges under sail and you couldn't have pictured that better. I am normally into fairly contemporary merchant ships but make an exception for these wonderful old vessels which we are priveliged to see quite often around our coast. Each and every one of these barges has a huge amount of history behind it, they really are quite captivating. Brilliant image.
