2010.03.01 - Brest harbour.
On Tuesday, February 02nd at 10:00 am, the salvage tug Abeille Bourbon took in trailer the cargo boat Eider beating Slovak flag, in average of propulsion in the rail of Ouessant. A fire had declared itself the day before at about 8:00 pm in the machinery room, quickly confined by the device of extinction in the halon of the edge.
Following an investigation, the crew tried to repair the fuel oil pump, object of the disaster. After three hours of fruitless intervention, the Slovak shipowner sought the help of the Abeille Bourbon for a towing towards the port of Brest.
