I've used it for years and got some excellent shots - if you can time it so that you meet ships on the move it's particularly good. Downsides are it moves pretty fast, so it can be tricky to line up the ideal shot, and can be a bit full at rush hour. Otherwise it's great.

You do have to check the timetable, I've been caught a couple of times by it not running. I suspect there's some logic to it, I've just never bothered to work it out! When it does run it's approximately hourly.
