I just noticed this photo of the s.s. canuk trader which my dad was master of in 1959.My Dad was the marine superintendent for March Shipping Agency in Montreal and since the harbour was closed during the winter months the company asked my Dad to take the ship up the Great Lakes for a load of scrap. My Dad took my Mom with him and they sailed for various ports in the Lakes and topped off in Montreal and Three Rivers and then sailed for Emden Germany. I was lucky enough to sail with them from Montreal to Quebec City and then I had to take the pilot boat to shore and drive back to Montreal.If anyone has any more photos it would be great to see them. Thank you.
