If required I can help with some suggestions for NZ photography closer to the time, Tauranga the best location but remember we are at the far end of the earth and nothing emphasises this more than shipping. We def. don't wait on the river bank here for something, better to find a movement time and work around. Check out port sites:

Thanks for the comments Dart 9 travels up and down the Thames several times a week. I see her and at least one of her sisters nearly every time I visit Tilbury. Should be in New Zealand in New Year, hope to photograph many new ships on the way there and back.
