Nice photo Marcelo. I like that type ships much. :-) But I think they´re more Special Purpose ships than Ro-Ros.

Agree in part. By one side in my opinion she is a Ro/Ro-Lo/Lo type, as see this class working in Santos with containers, general cargo, steel products and suggar in bags, never ever noted a ro/ro call, but the classification options on shpspotting it´s a litle bit hard to classify some vessels.

You mean that this vessel suppose to be special pourpose due her ice braeking/ice ops capability ?

Thanks for the comments

I mean the icebreaking capability plus the Ro-Ro/Lo-Lo + capability to carry containers. When you sum these all criterias the term "multipurposeship" is the closest one. These are very unusual designed vessels yeah. :-)

Yes agreed with you, really (and for sure) they are multipourpose vessels

The main fact as said befor is the classification system, not clean and not all options (an good example is the box shapped vessels (gearbulk style) for me they must have a classification part of bulkers, as they are multipourpose vessels, but just them, no other kinds
