Aduanas and Policía Nacional inspected, in the port of Vigo, Ben Chourn , a fishing boat of 38.100 meters of length and with British flag that, apparently, could hide in her interior cocaine contraband, according to indicated sources of the investigation.

The crew, formed by four neighbours of the pontevedresa locality of Cambados, had been retained a whole day inside the trawler by order of the Audiencia Nacianal.

The boat was intercepted 300 miles to the west of the coast of A Coruña, by the Aduanas' monitoring ship "Petrel". The operation was carried out after a Customs patrol airplane descried to the boat in a zone that instilled suspicions, because it seems to be a place of trasbase of drug.

After being made a first registry in that were not found any narcotic substances and, due to the bad conditions of the sea, it was decided to transfer the boat until the port of Vigo to make a more exhaustive inspection.
