Description:
The high waterline of Ben Chourn, docked on the commercial wharf of Vigo, made foretell that she went totally empty. The suspicion that existed about the completely oxidized vessel was she could be hiding in her interior cocaine contraband, that could reach until the four or five tons.
During five hours, the agents of the Grupo Operativo de Inspección Técnica (GOIT) drilled without success the walls of the staterooms and the warehouse of this fishing weakening, of about 38.100 meters of length...The technicians had to go back once more with a cable using the equipment of hull cut as they were suspecting that the illegal load could be hidden in a false bottom of the warehouse. According to experts, a ship of that length could easily hide in her multiple curbs up to five tons.
Nothing was hidden by the end of the investigations: the fight against narcotrafic also has its own fiascos!
