Still looks in good shape though. It's strange, & I think most of us are guilty of it of having an affection for an inanimate object. Ok, she's not much to look at regarding aesthetics as opposed to your 1950's built cruise ships, ships with character etc but in my mind she's functional & has all the capabilities of recently built vessels of this ilk. It's just a pity that, progress has caught up with her (e.g. efficiency,etc).

.... but nearly thirty years of hard work behind her!

Shame she's gone - she seriously looks heavy duty, solidly built too !!
