Description:

This is the former HMS Landfall (LCT 7074), the last surviving tank landing craft that took part in the D-Day Landings. After decommissioning, she spent many years in Liverpool as a nightclub under the name "Clubship Landfall." She subsequently crossed the Mersey to Birkenhead where she became part of the Historic Warships collection. The collection was disbanded in 2006, since when she has remained in Birkenhead's East Float "awaiting restoration." She is part of the UK National Historic Fleet. This photograph, taken on 17 July 2010, shows this unique and historic vessel in her current condition.
