COMMENT THIS PHOTO(3)
this was a long telephoto shot of HAPARANGI passing Portishead Point, outbound from Avonmouth, on 9th November 1971
I had the privelege of living at Portishead from 1960 until moving to London in January 1972, and then to Liverpool in March 1974 since when I have done most of my photography on the River Mersey which has some similarities to the Bristol Channel

one of my absolute favourites I have seen in the 70s.

We have to thank Malcolm for this photo, he was one of the best photographers in the UK, and had the good fortune to take photos near Avonmouth where backgrounds were not a problem.
