Description:
Cross-Channel Ferries leaving Dover Harbour via the Eastern Entrance at 1.13 pm on Friday, 6th of August, 2010.
At top-left in the English Channel is the "Norman Bridge" cross-channel freight and passenger ferry (IMO: 9147306; LD Lines) en route to Boulogne, France.
Passing through the Eastern Entrance of Dover Harbour is the "Pride of Canterbury" ferry (IMO: 9007295; P&O Ferries) en route to Calais, France.
Still berthed at Dover 6 ferry terminal in the Eastern Docks is the "Dover Seaways" ferry (IMO number: 9318345; Norfolk Line) which had just arrived from Dunkirk (Dunkerque), France.
It's easy to miss at first glance, but berthed this side of the Eastern Arm pier at top-left is the "Clipper Bordeaux" Oil Products Tanker (IMO: 9281803; Clipper Group).
The structure near the end of the Eastern Arm pier is Dover Port Control. On the right-hand side of the Eastern Entrance is the Southern Breakwater.
The photo was taken from above Broadlees Bottom near Langdon Cliffs (part of the "White Cliffs of Dover").
