Range Safety Craft Michael Murphy VC. Akrotiri, Cyprus 1985.

Michael Murphy VC was one of two 24 metre Honour Class boats built by James & Stone Ltd, Brightlingsea, Essex, the other being the Alfred Herring VC. They were based on the RAF Spitfire Class Rescue Target Towing Launches. Michael Murphy VC (1983) was later renamed Falconet; Alfred Herring VC (1978) was renamed Petard.
