Thanks a lot for posting the picture of this to me long forgotten vessel.
However I found something in my files because a friend from the other side of the big pond remembered her:
Her specs:
Type of vessel: Barkentine
Built: 1967 as a trawler by the shipyard S. Sejmonsbergen, Rotterdam, NL
Rebuilt: 1998 to 2001
Port of registry: Papenburg, Germany
Displacement: 177ts
Loa: 50m
Beam: 6.9m
Draught: 3.4m
Sail area: 630sqm
Mast hight: 28m
Main engine: M.A.N. 400 HP
Generators: three at 25 KVA (each ?)
Speed: max. 12 knots
Day passengers: max. 100
Cabin passengers: 30
HEUREKA was intended for the charter business in Europe, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean. Something must have gone wrong.

Her old website:
http://www.barkheureka.de/
which was later changed to:
http://www.barkentine-heureka.com
both are no longer existing.

Werner
