The Portuguese Navy found yesterday in the Azores of fishing gear and buoys belonging to the ship, according to confirmed the owner of the same Antonio Cunha to the families of the sailors. El alcalde mostró su preocupación por los acontecimientos a la espera de las peores noticias 'en las próximas horas'. De hecho hizo sus declaraciones tras una eucaristía celebrada en al capila de la Senhora da Bonança, frente al puerto de la localidad. La celebración reunió a un centenar de personas, incluyendo a los familiares de los marineros desaparecidos. 'Ana da Quinta' tiene puerto base en Vigo, como muchos pesqueros portugueses que desembarcan sus mercancías en los muelles del Berbés. Llevaba a bordo nueve marineros, seis lusos y otros tres extranjeros, de nacionalidad indonesia. La última comunicación sitúa a la embarcación a 150 millas al noroeste de la Isla de Flores, en una zona donde las olas alcanzaban los cuatro y cinco metros de altura. Pertenece a un armador de Vila Praia de Âncora. Se trata de Antonio Cunha, que ayer mismo se trasladó a las casas a de los familiares de los pescadores para comunicarles que se habían encontrado boyas y artes de pesca del barco y que éste se encontraba en el fondo del mar, algo que todavía no confirmó la Marina portuguesa.
