Thanks for the info Hubert. It's always interesting to hear some info about the fate of vessels I've photographed. This prettymuch comes second only to the tuna seiner I captured that went down mysteriously in the Pacific only a couple of days later.

The vessel, while being under tow to a scrapyard in Turkey, broke free mid September 2011 from her tug and went adrift with no one on board. her destiny was the shore of Scatarie Island, near Sydney, Nova Scotia. Her hull should break in two or three pieces within the next few days...
