|In Catoira (Galicia - Spain), each year local people remember the viking attacks in the IXth and Xth centuries in the so-called "Romaría Vikinga". For years, local sand bargues was used to pley the role of a "drakkar". In order to remember that, the SAFI, a sand barge built in the XIXth century was restored and modified to remember these boats.
She uses to be anchored next to a caste of the Xth century, Oeste Towers.
