Tompenney, this one is not the one that capsized, it is her sister, the FORT WILLIAM, and she is the only one of the 5 sisters left, she is sailing as STEPHEN B ROMAN, now a cement carrier.

There is so much history left unwritten about these fine ships,this package freighter also caught fire and capsized in Montreal around 1965 with a loss of life,she was refloated and resumed her career again,I was unaware that she had a fire in the wheelhouse while laid up awaiting scrap,very odd place,maybe it was arson..Would love if there was a person that could set up a library on the Great Lakes ships,I hate to see that word Dead that tells me that ship is longer here..
