The Veli Joze was delivered to Brodospas in 1950 as the world's most powerful floating sheerlegs and salvaged many wrecks from ships lost during the war. In 1957 the Veli Joze together with salvage vessel Rezac and tug Borac were engaged in clearing the Suez Canal under the auspicies of the United Nations. A truly world famous, remarkable vessel, proudly made in Holland. See more here: http://www.kvarner.hr/kultura/english/industrial.html
