Description:

Now renamed Arx and Spica J respectively, at time of photo both vessels operated on the route Warrenpoint to Waterford to Zeebrugge. On departing Warrenpoint for Waterford the Astralis had an explosion in her engine room just outside Carlingford Lough which disabled her and seriously injured one crew member who was airlifted to Drogheda hospital. She was towed back to Warrenpoint for repairs and when Spica arrived cargo was transferred to her from Astralis.Shortly after this the service was ended.
Spica J is operating Rotterdam to Oslo at present but after a long layup in Rotterdam Astralis moved to Tillbury and was renamed Arx but as of yet no work has come her way.
