Hello Jens, how lucky you are to have the opportunity to enjoy those icy photos from Canada in you warm an cozy living room.... I envy you a lot but i can say it would be difdicult for me to live in a country where there are no winter... The only problem wiht our winter is that it's last too long... but we are used to it... And a big nice bol of cooling air is always so stimulating and even by -minus 30 like it happen sometimes in January it is fun to take pictures of those all icy ships coming from all around the word! Enjoy you sunny holiday lucky you,
greetings, Robert08

Though I spend my holidays each year on the Canary Islands I'm always fascinated with these "icy" photos from Canada and Scandinavia. (Possibly because I can enjoy them in my warm and cozy living room...):-)

Apropos ice... I discovered a nice photo in Google Earth positioned opposite from La Baie. The photo is titled "le village de glace" - beautiful. But really, I'm not envious when you speak of snow and ice for the next five months... brrrr...

Don't worry Cornelia, winter is only beginning down here; i will have plenty of time to post lot of "ships in snow and ice" during the nest five months.....
Thanks for you comment; for me exchanging comments are on my opinion one of the best part on any shipspotting ship!
Very best regards, Robert08
