Description:
Entering Port of Auckland on it's 1st visit 16 January 2011. Built by STX Korea in 2009, yard # 1282. 2664 Teu capacity or 1856 Teu @ 14 mt each. This replaces the 1987 built California Mercury ( IMO 8616489 ) in the service to Singapore and Malaysia that NYK shares with PIL, MOL, and OOCL Lines. The photo was taken from North Head , Devonport in the evening with a lot of side light.
