The Greek owned PROTOAPOSTOLOS was photographed anchored off Apapa/Lagos on 4th January 1976. She had arrived from Gdansk on October 16th 1975 and berthed in August 1976 to discharge her cargo of cement, sailing on 10th September bound for St.Vincent (Cape Verde Islands), probably for bunkers and stores.

She had been built by Wm. Doxford at Sunderland in 1956 for Reardon Smith as NEW WESTMINSTER CITY, becoming PROTOAPOSTOS in 1970 and renamed AGIOS ANDREAS later in 1976; She arrived at Pohang on 16th June 1979 to be broken up
