Hi Bob,

Yes those were the days, I firstt did a "Flandria" trip round Antwerp in 1981. In those days so many ships you had to work out where a gap would be to allow a change of film!

Back in July 1968, I sailed right down this dock on-board the original CERDIC FERRY from Tilbury. By the time it arrived at the destination berth, my camera was getting on for 'red-hot'.
Some of the pics from that day a are already on the site (eg ABBEKERK) many more are still to come. Quite a nostalgic pic for me , Derek. Thanx.

Hi Gerolf,

The same for me I never visited Antwerp till the early 80's.
The second ships name does look like Mokambo but I could not be certain. the Peruvian is the Lima I have a shot f it taken at the same time its not good enough to show!

Hi Derek,
unfortunately I have never been to Antwerp in th 70s.
But the second ship good be Mokambo adn the last one on the photo the Peruvian Piura (from the shape and teh funnel)
