Description:

Belonging to a long series of vessels built by the Company Bilbao, Spain (shared with SECN, Sestao), albeit with some differences, we accounted for Luchana build number 155. The keel laying took place on 22 February 1963 and his christening took place on July 19, 1963. Was delivered to the shipping in January 1964 and immediately began their travels.
Our main character was originally a general cargo ship with five warehouses, four ahead of the superstructure and aft. Wineries No. 2 and 3 had a deck, while wineries 1, 4 and 5, had two decks. Description has several translation errors,I belive It has been done with google translator eg. warehouses are holds, wineries are holds. pen is heavy lift boom. Asnyk comment is true, the reason of sinking and the three Engineers kilt and the boatswain later in hospital was not properly investigate, there were many people guilty...sad history.

IMO 5416474. Luchana broke in two and sank during storm 6 miles N of Gijon 15.01.1986 with cargo 13000t iron ore. Owner Bilbaina S.A.
