Based in Peterhead(Scotland - UK), [i]Lunar Bow[/i] PD 265 has been designed in Flekkefjord(Norway) by Simek AS. Launched in 2000, she has been fitted with a 5520kW engine, a full-length shelterdeck and a transom and 3 cruiser decks. The characteristics of this purse seiner/trawler are the following ones:

Owned by Lunar Fishing Co Ltd, Lunar Bow is also fitted with refrigerated sea water tanks as well as a full pelagic package, including auto-trawl system, bow and stern thrusters and a fish pump, split trawl winches and vacuum landing pump.
