Hi Graham,

I agree, its sad that she is gone, I saw the photos you posted and I liked them very much, I hope to see K.S.V.2 one day too.
I saw the 63 meter long SRIVICHAI NAVY 3 on the Bangkok pilot list a few days ago, but cant find any info about her, maybe she has taken over for this one.
Have a nice weekend,

Best regards,
Geir

Hello Geir,
Yes, it looks like she's just been dry docked in your photo. Such a shame that she was lost so shortly after. I see the old SOOPANAVA INTER 2 is in the dry dock behind in your photo. She was built in 1970, so it's nice to see her getting some care and attention too. I've posted photos of her and K.S.V. 2. I'm glad to see you are keeping your camera busy ; I always enjoy your photos from Thailand, especially when old favourites pop up.
Cheers,
Graham

Hi Graham,

That was unfortunately, hope the crew are ok.
She seemed to be in good condition and I was hoping to see her again and get a chance to take some better photos.

Best regards,
Geir

She was reported as a casualty in this month's 'Marine News'. " Sank 5.11.2010 in heavy weather off Surat Thani." There was unfortunately no information on the fate of her crew.
I think this now means that the only one of the Smith's Dock Thai tankers still sailing is K.S.V.2, ex MAHACHAI.
