She's a beauty for sure Derek. Managed to catch sister ship 'VINGAREN' off Tilbury Landing Stage back in the day.

Hi Derek, thanks for that. She sure is a different ship. I found the Malmros Monsoon after spelling it right. Cheers for that.
Regards,
Gary.

Hello,

The Malmros Monsoon is a quite a different ship to the Hallaren, being the next generation really as a full container ship. The photos in Fremantle are by John Kent

best regards
Derek

Hi Master Sands, I finally found the vessel I was looking for, the Malmros Monsoon. I saw your pic from the 1975, in Fremantle.

Hi Master Sands, she looks like a ship that carried cargo and containers from Aust to Hong Kong in the mid 70's.(Malros Monsoon) For Brostrom Line,( was that A/B Transatlantic) Swedish officers and crew. I was a shore based Reefer Tech, working for a Swedish Company in Adel, South Australia.

Hi Benny,

Yes think she is a thing of beauty!
The image is scanned from an old slide taken with an ancient Zenith camera!
Like a lot of ships of this era guess she could accommodate 12 passengers, but I could find no reference to passenger numbers.

kind regards

Derek

Above or below 3000 tons, makes no difference in design, it is a truly beautiful ship and a good image Derek, I like to see the ship. do you know about it can have passengers also, for there is much deckhouse, and there is probably no more than 18-20 crew onboard, we were not more on a similar ship in the fifties (Nordvest)
