Glad you caught it in daylight. It came in the dark and left in the dark over here on the Tyne. It had much hype seeing as it had just brought in the new battery car (Leaf). Personaly i think it looks like a cigar tube!!!

I guess, rounded bulkhead reduces wind resistance, but as to how much effects on fuel economy?.....who knows!
