Sailed on this heap for nearly 3years,left her just before she was scrapped.
Can anyone identify where this photograph was taken?

My old ship, was Engineer Officer on her from 28/10/58 until 24/4/60. One of the so called "black four!", others were Maidan, Mahronda and Magdapur. First in fleet with high pressure Foster Wheeler WT boilers.

What a lovely ship, nice collours, old bridge, big funnel. Those Brooklebank ships belong to the most beautiful ones ever traded.
And the other old shp in the back gives a real impression of thegood old times.
