Is the uncompleted MSC Laurence anchored off Pusan going to be owned or chartered?

i know that the OLD Laurence that was just broken up was chartered, but since the new one isnt done yet and is on hold for now, Equasis doesnt have any info posted. if she is company-owned then she would mark a potential change in the naming policy.

unless someone has ever met a lady named Laurence, lol.

I think Emiliyan is right. These are Peter Doehle ships chartered to MSC. The change of naming policy might not be what it appears. The "original" Peter Doehle name for this ship is "Fabiola". MSC have simply added their acronym to it.

Hi all!
How I can see on one picture, the funnel is marked as "PD" - Peter Doehle. You can see the followed link that they will built total 4 ship and supposed that all of the will be chartered to MSC. Meanwhile the hull is exact to PD ship.

Thanks for the info Andrew, I was wondering about the livery! Also interesting to see a change of naming policy at MSC. So far, all MSC-owned ships were named after women, while the chartered ships had different names (countries/cities/whatever). Seems they have let go of this policy at least a bit...
