Thanks Bob,

Shame you did not manage to sneak out for a photo, the weather was far from brilliant though!

best regards
Derek

Nice one Derek :-)
I was working up at Martlesham Heath, just down the road from Felixstowe, on Tuesday and had put the camera in the car in the hopes of nipping over for a photo but, as usual, work got in the way :-((
Phil, I actually popped down to Tilbury on Saturday to try and see the Hamburg Sud ship, only stayed 5 minutes because there was fog as well as rain :-((((

Take care all

Bob

Thanks John and Andrew,

She was getting ready to sail here and guess a lot of the boxes were empties returning to the far east for more things for John!

Slow going with the ankle at present

best regards
Derek

The light has been bad Derek but at least you made the 'considerable' effort to catch her for us! Looks like she came in with a lot of boxes to be offloaded. Must be all this stuff I'm ordering on Amazon etc. I have to do my bit for the global shipping market to keep myself in a job :-))
Hope the ankle heals well.
Best Regards
John

Tomas is a great photographer, and earns his shots being stuck out in the freezing cold on the Brevik bridge!

I will be hobbling around when I can but am depending on others for transport!

best regards
Derek

No sun here yet. I've been fed up with the murk for weeks. I had a chance to go to Tilbury last Saturday but it was just awful weather. I'm so envious of Tomas's pics from a very cold but very sunny Norway :-)
Glad you managed to get out to see her anyway, despite the crutches!

Thanks Phil,
It was worth a hobble on crutches to at least see her.
Of course my wife drove the car as its not possible for me at present.

Pity about the weather as the sun is out here but has not got rid of the murk as yet

best regards
Derek

It doesn't look bad at all Derek. At least you've made the effort to photoshop out the mist and haze :-)
