Lovely shot of this classic bulker.
The successful B540 type was indeed a development of the B436 of which only 4 were built, all delivered during 1973.
But this vessel is the 4th of the B540 series of which 21 vessels were built between 1973 (keel laying of first vessel Vlas Nichkov on 19:04:1973 and the delivery of the last vessel Kapitan Lyubchenko on 30 December 1977. sources : Stocznia Gdanska building list and Polski Rejestr Statkow.
