My grandmothers husband traveled on this boat. I’m trying to find hers. She calls it the Orapina or Oraphina. Spelling unknown.

Mother, father, and brother onboard, had my 6th birthday on this ship and learned to play dominoes here. I remember the big dumplings they had also. Lots of good memories. Still sailing in my mind.

I travelled on this ship when I was 4 years old, with my mom,dad 2 brothers and a sister. We left England Dec 1969 and arrived in jamaica Jan 1970. All I can remember is arriving in jamaica and eating beef patties for the first. I also happen to know Junior Bonner.

I was Ten years old on that trip in 1974, Traveling with my mother and younger brother. We thought we would die when we were adrift in the middle of the Atlantic, when in October 12 the towboat Oceanic came to our rescue. This voyage is imprinted in my memory for ever
