Description:
Delivered April 1976 by Nishii Zosen as Alpine Star. IN 9185 she was old and renamed Orient Star and then Burg in 1997. Owned by Eastern Commander S. A., she was 4,413gt / 6,868dwt.
Seen here loading grain.
In 2006 she was renamed Simoon II and is allegedly still trading. But the grain terminal and photographic permits have both gone. Oh well that's progess !!
