Description:

Surprised not to have found a picture of her from the Thames Mafia, so here is my shot of Burma. Built R. Dunston (Hessle) as Burma for William Watkins Ltd., she later transferred to London Tugs and then in 1976 to Alexandra Towing, retaining her original name. Dating from February 1967, she is as I will always remember tugs, not these new-fangled super-efficient ship manipulators. Broken up by Medway Dry Dock & Eng. Ltd., Sheerness during December 1989

There are two shots of her on here from the 'Thames Mafia', albeit not as good as yours ;-) And also one from the currently hobbling 'Harwich Mafiosa'.

All my photos of her are crap Allan. That's why this Thames Mafioso hasn't posted one up.

This is how she appeared later in her career, with the "chicken-coop" wheelhouse added as a bit of an afterthought by the same Sheerness dockyard that eventually scrapped her and which was also owned by Alexandra Towing.
To see how she originally appeared see the pic of her sister, WATERCOCK at http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=1239465
