Today , the 29th June 2011 is Saturn's very last day on the Gourock-Dunoon Service as Calmac have lost their contract for the vehicle part. They will continue on the route but it will only be passenger-only through subsiduary company Argyll Ferries. The money-spinning vehicle part of this route will all go to Western Ferries (Clyde) Ltd , in effect , a vehicle monoply to Dunoon , something that wasn't supposed to happen. Saturn will move down to Ardrossan to be summer supplimentary vessel on the Brodick route. She is now the final Streaker as Juno has been dismantled and Jupiter was towed from the Clyde. It now looks very much like the 'Clyde Streaker' era is coming to an end after 37 years.
