Description:

A rare photograph of one of the first Cunard Great Lakes charters, the West German owned CARIA, ex-WIEDENBORSTEL, built by Holst at Neuenfelde in 1953, photographed on 31.8.60, presumably on the Welland Canal

In 1961 she became PASAMAN, in 1970 TANDO I and in 1972 the Singapore owned BONWAY as which she foundered in the South China Sea during a typhoon on 2.12.72 while on voyage from Singapore to Saigon
