Well Thomas, KARMSUND was in sandefjord last year in the winter; we delivered some tanks to Jotun. I took a lot of photos there, of the ice-covered fjord, but I'm afraid the photos are on the PC onboard KARMSUND. And that one is shut off; I was the one who did that, I also shut off the AIS, so noone can see us anymore. So NORDKYN and KARMSUND is past history, I'm afraid. Too bad, KARMSUND would have at least 100 (eh;well 50)more years in hand of a good crew, it's a really beautiful and solid vessel

Nei hva faen er de gått i bøyene! Uffda. Nordkyn og Karmsund..... Ah, barndomsminner.

I knew you have been at Karmsund. Karmsund and Røyksund was my favorites back in the Veritas-ruten days, when they came to Sandefjord.
Nordkyn came once in a while. Ah, sad sad news....

I have gotten assignment by Nor-cargo to shoot their fleet.

He,he Tomas, får vel skrive på norsk, selv om ikke alle (bl.a. meg) er så happy for dette. NORDFJELL og NORDSKOTT er forlengst solgt, og er på varmere breddegrader. Jeg har vært styrmann i 13 år på KARMSUND, det er denne + NORDKYN som kom noen timer senere, som er gått i opplag i Gdynia. En tidligere polsk matros skal ha tilsynet med båtene. En "top secret" melding fra rederiet sier at hvis båtene ikke blir solgt innen sommeren er over, så går de til skrap i India. Men dette må du ikke si til noen, det er hemmelig mellom meg og deg.....

Det er Nordfjell og Nordskott som har gått i bøya? Du verden, de har frakta sine tonn opp og ned kysten. Husker jeg ble dritsur da Tore Hund og Nordland ble bytta ut med de.

Trist! Si endelig fra, om du skulle være i nærheten av Grenland!

Det var da veldig så lav broa var blitt, Tomas. Uansett, du har noen fantastiske bilder. Kom selv hjem i går fra Polen, hvor jeg var med på å legge to NorLines-skip i opplag. Trist å forlate rederiet etter 13 fantastiske år, men det viste seg jo at sjefene i Stavanger ikke greide å drive dette. De skulle ha latt Sætre drive videre, da var alle happy. Uansett Tomas, Shipspotting går videre, håper at jeg får anløpe under broa di i fremtiden også, selv om los-sertifikatet mitt utløper straks
