Suffered serious engine failure 29-08-1997 when leaving Tampa and returned to port Tampa.The engine was dismantled and the vessel was subsequently declared CTL.She is to be sold for scrap.
1998-29-jan.Arrived at Manta.Ecuador in tow of the tug Tillamook in order to discharge her cargo of bagged rice.Wheather conditions were bad and she collided with a fishing vessel before being beached at an inside anchorage.Since there are no barges in the port,discharge of the cargo is presently impossible.
The vessel remains aground with the cargo of rice believed infested.Consequently it cannot be discharged.
1998-It is reported that the vessel has been abandoned by her owners and the cargo owners are facing financial problems.Discharge has been suspended.
